These Terms of Service govern your use of verilymag.shop (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Verily Magazine. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Verily Magazine.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By using the Site you confirm you are able to enter a binding contract.

3. Products and pricing

We try to display our products and their colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee your screen shows them exactly. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors and to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price, refunding you in full.

Product availability is limited and we may discontinue any product at any time. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation or ship the goods. Payment is taken at checkout and processed by our payment providers. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

5. Pre-orders

Pre-ordered items are charged at the time of order and ship when stock arrives. Estimated release dates are estimates, not commitments. You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund any time before it ships.

6. Digital products

Digital issues, guides, and downloads are licensed, not sold. You may download them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, upload, or publicly post them. Access to a download link may be limited in number or duration.

7. Memberships

Verily memberships are sold and managed at verilymag.com/membership and are governed by the terms presented there. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled, and may be cancelled at any time from your account, with access continuing through the end of the paid period.

8. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Return & Refund Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — articles, photographs, illustrations, designs, logos, and the Verily name and marks — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or harvest data from it, to transmit malicious code, or to infringe anyone’s rights.

11. User submissions

If you send us comments, suggestions, or other materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use and publish them without obligation or compensation. We may edit or remove any submission.

12. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated and except for warranties that cannot be excluded by law, the Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Editorial content is published for general interest and is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verily Magazine and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for any breach of these terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.

19. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Site.
